This is me bleeding rusty hot coolant on the A68 after the May East Fortune show , with 3 holes in the rad. It really had to prove it was sorry by accepting a re-cored radiator !

Ever since watching C.H.I.P.S  and Hardcastle + McCormick when I wis wee I've always wanted an American car.

This dream was  woken up after visiting the Mopar euronats at Stratford on Avon for the first time, then I met Chris at York Dragway + Selkirk classic car show who was advertising on behalf of a friend, this car.

So after the phone call/meeting/inspection/deposit, I ordered the Haynes manual ,..... easy as that !!!.

My mate and I pottered away with it Sept.2000  thru May 2001, and through the MOT it went. A few teething problems from radiators to 60mph flying wheels, always an adventure but never depression inducing, unlike the old vauxh. cavalier shed I used to have. 

Since bought, given a good scrub and paint underneath, leaky seals,hoses, gaskets + exhaust holes fixed, re-cored rad, wheels blasted+painted,back drum cylinders +various other bits replaced to make it "right as rain"

I usually spend more time on the mechanix side rather than the interior, it's always last on the agenda (tut tut !!!)
